They can also be completely eliminated from the breeding process. The reason behind this is that Cocker Spaniel mixes may not come out as very friendly and sociable like a pure bred Golden Retriever. Therefore, you must be extremely cautious in choosing the right parent. One more thing to consider for the breeders as well as the buyer is that Golden Retrievers and Poodle combinations can also result in ‘Goldendoodle’ and ‘Golden Retroodle’ varieties. Do not be fooled into a variety that is not a Miniature Golden Retriever.

If you are a new buyer and do not have any previous know-how of the Golden Retriever breed, you can still identify the Miniature Golden Retriever Puppies from other Retriever-Poodle combinations. These puppies do not have very long wavy coats and are generally born with the characteristic brown-yellow tinge on their coats. A Miniature Golden Retriever will be a nice addition to almost any household because they are little amiable creatures who love to play with children and can adapt easily to their environment.
